With the many changes taking place in the behavioral health care environment and the reconfiguration of agencies, many staff openings are becoming available, and many staff members are seeking positions. As a result, NJAMHA has been offering its members this service: Alerting members about openings or availability of staff via email, for a charge. A fee for placing the posting and the cost of the communication has been paid for by the individual advertising the position.

Executive Director, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, seeks an Executive Director to oversee the operations and management of this faith-inspired social services organization. The Executive Director reports to the Bishop of the Diocese of Trenton and the Board of Trustees and is responsible for the delivery of quality programs that uphold and express Catholic Social Teaching through the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Key Responsibilities include:
•    Ensure the overall financial stability and sustainability of the organization through the cultivation and development of grants, government contracts and other sources of support
•    Oversee senior management to ensure that standards of performance are maintained throughout the organization, which operates more than 58 programs, chiefly within four counties in central New Jersey—Burlington, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean
•    Provide thought leadership to the organization’s senior management and Board of Trustees in order to identify and capitalize on important trends, opportunities, and challenges relevant to the mission and sustainability of the organization
•    Represent the organization to the Bishop, the Diocese and its 120+ parish communities, municipal, county, state and federal entities and national professional associations and to the public at large
•    Lead the organization in establishing a vision to unite and inspire all staff and to support the successful accomplishment of goals incorporated within a strategic plan
•    Serve as a community leader in advocating on behalf of the poor and vulnerable

Minimum Qualifications:
•    An advanced degree with significant years of executive level leadership as well as management experience, preferably with a nonprofit or human services agency.
•    A track record of accomplishments in strategic planning, fundraising, financial management, employee relations, relationship-building with a Board of Directors and with external stakeholders.
•    A practicing Roman Catholic with knowledge of and commitment to
•    Catholic moral and social teachings and a personal commitment to social justice.

Title: Primary Counselor – Out Patient Program – Verona – Part time
_ Qualifications: Clinical Master's degree and LCADC are required.
_ Responsibilities: Evening hours 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm, conducting groups, etc.

Title: Mental Health Intake Worker– Admissions Department - Paterson – Full time 
_Qualifications: Master’s Degree preferred in Social Work or Psychology. LCADC Preferred. Strong clinically/diagnostic skills, knowledge of DSMIV and knowledge of chemical dependence and 12 Step programs.

_Responsibilities: Position responsibilities are, but not limited to answering telephone inquires about admission to Turning Point, completing Pre- Admission Screening and scheduling admissions as appropriate.  Screen clients and determine appropriateness of admission based on DSM, ASAM, and agency criteria. Complete Diagnostic Interview on all clients with a Co-Occurring Disorder. Make referrals as appropriate.  Screen clients to determine funding eligibility and insure all funding requirements are met. Verify client insurance benefits and eligibility, Obtain pre-certification as indicated.

Title:  Intake Worker – Admissions - Paterson – Full time
_Qualifications: CADC or 60 CADC credits, Bachelors Degree in human health related, Master’s Degree preferred in Social Work or Psychology, Knowledge of chemical dependence and 12 Step programs.

_Responsibilities:    Position requirements are, but not limited to answer telephone inquires about admission to Turning Point, completing Pre- Admission Screening and scheduling admissions as appropriate. Screen clients and determine appropriateness of admission based on agency criteria. Make referrals as appropriate, Maintain waiting list, Screen clients to determine funding eligibility and insure all funding requirements are met. Verify client insurance benefits and eligibility. Title: Mental Health Clinician – Women’s Program - Paterson – Full time 
_Qualifications:    Master’s level clinical, LCADC, LCSW or LPC,

_Responsibilities: Position requirements are, but not limited to assessment skills including the use of NJSAMS, ASI and current DSM.  Knowledge of mental illness and psychotropic medication, experience in the provision of individual and group therapy to assigned clients with COD.  Coordinate client’s treatment with the medical /psychiatric and other internal departments of Turning Point.  Coordinate client’s treatment and after care with external interested parties such as families, referents, legal authorities, treatment agencies through ongoing case management

Title: Counselor Aide – Paterson / Secaucus – Per Diem – all shifts
- Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, valid NJ driver’s license and minimum 30 CADC credit hours completed.
- Requirements: Required are strong knowledge of 12-Step program, CADC credits hours, and must be reliable.  Duties include monitoring clients’ activities, charting and documentation. 

Title: Primary Counselor - Residential Program -Secaucus - Full time
- Qualifications: LCADC or CADC required. Minimum 3 years experience in the behavioral health field
- Responsibilities: Screening, intake and assessment, facilitation of psycho education groups required. Manage a caseload (6-8 clients) of detox and residential clients. Knowledge of NJSAM, DSM and ASAM a plus.

Title: RN – Detox department - Secaucus – Per Diem / flexible shifts / partial shifts
- Qualifications: NJ registered nurse, team player, multi tasker, experience with treating substance abuse clients and COD experience a plus. Knowledge of addictions and 12-step program.
- Responsibilities: Monitor/treat detox and residential clients on dedicated detox unit.

Rescue Mission of Trenton Addictions Counselor Residential Treatment Facility

Primary Responsibilities:
Assesses client needs and strength, develop, implement, review, revise treatment plans. In general, case management for assigned cases, particularly development of aftercare plan. Develop/deliver lectures, conduct group meetings, supervise addiction education sessions. Develop client discharge plan. Evaluate clients for Life Skills Program (education, career development, and life skills assignments). Provide formal and informal counseling services.

Qualifications for Position
Certification: Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADC) or (LCADC) by State of NJ. Minimum Bachelors Degree. 1-2 years experience in addictions treatment and counseling field. Valid driver's license.
